This reactor can be configured with up to 8 series connected reaction tubes, providing two specifications of reaction tubes: 0.35 L and 1.25 L. Its piston flow performance is equivalent to the series effect of dozens of continuous stirred tank reactors (CSTRs), and experimental data shows that its theoretical number of trays far exceeds 100.
Coflore ATR is capable of handling a variety of single-phase and multi-phase reaction mixtures, including thick slurries, without clogging, making it highly suitable for processes such as hydrogenation and Grignard reactions. The solid feeding of the reactor can be fully automated without the need for pumps in the process pipeline, improving operational convenience and safety.

The Coflore ATR tubular flow reactor is highly suitable for pilot continuous processes before scaling up, or for production scales (in the hundreds of kilograms/ton range). The process developed on the small-scale R&D grade Coflore ACR platform can be directly scaled up to the Coflore ATR piston flow reactor.
This reactor is suitable for various chemical processes with residence times ranging from a few seconds to several hours and has universality. The reactions that have been successfully carried out in Coflore ATR include hydrogenation reactions, Grignard reactions, ester exchange reactions, biocatalytic reactions, nitrification reactions, and many other types. It can handle multiphase mixtures containing slurry and gas with low risk of blockage or scaling, making it highly suitable for heterogeneous catalytic reactions.

ATR has a high degree of configurability, and by stacking up to 8 reaction tubes on the ATR stirring platform, a variable working volume of 350 to 10000 mL can be achieved. Each reaction tube has dedicated side holes that can be used as needed, such as installing thermocouples or injecting reagents into the reactor.
The reaction tubes of the ATR continuous tube flow reactor are detachable, and all surfaces and components in contact with the medium are easy to clean.
The preparation work for chemical reactions in ATR is minimal, and its low pressure drop characteristics make it compatible with various pumps (including gear pumps, diaphragm pumps, injection pumps, peristaltic pumps, etc.). The reaction residence time is determined by the flow rate of the pump, rather than the size or length of the reactor process channel, so users can easily screen multiple residence times as needed. Regardless of the flow rate, the mixing efficiency and piston flow performance can remain stable.
