HYL-101 typeScott capacity meterThe loose packing density tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national GB5060-85 "Measurement Method for Loose Packing Density of Metal Powder Part 2: Scott Capacity Meter Method"; Simultaneously comply with the standard ISO3932/2 "Determination of Bulk Density of Metal Powder Part 2: Scott Capacity Meter Method". This testing device is suitable for funnels with a diameter of 5mm that cannot flow freely through the funnel method and powders with easily changed characteristics using the vibrating funnel method.

2、 Principle of Scott Capacity Meter

The powder is placed on the sieve in the upper combination funnel and flows naturally or by external force into the fabric box. It alternately passes through four quartz glass plates with a tilt angle of 25 ° and a square funnel in the fabric box, and then flows into a cylindrical cup of known volume in a loose state. Then weigh the mass of the powder in the cylindrical cup.

(1) Upper combination funnel

Assembled from two stainless steel (304 material) conical funnels, with an upper diameter of Φ 112mm and a lower diameter of Φ 30mm, a total length of 30850mm. Screen: 1.18mm stainless steel screen.

(2) Fabric box

The cross-section is square, with four 2mm thick quartz glass plates embedded diagonally in an aluminum frame. The front and rear walls of the frame are made of organic glass plates; The four quartz glass plates can be pulled out and are easy to clean.

(3) Square funnel

A square cone made of 1mm thick stainless steel (304 material) plate welded together, with a tilt angle of 60 °, and a lower end diameter of 12.5mm × 12.5mm.

(4) Cylindrical cup

The volume is 25ml, made of stainless steel (304) material, with a net weight of 46 ± 1 grams.

(5) Iron platform

Used to support upper combination funnels, fabric boxes, square funnels, cylindrical cups, and other components.

(6) Balance scale

Used for weighing powder samples, with a maximum weight of 1kg and an accuracy of 0.02g (users can bring their own).
